On June 14th, 2016, RAYMOND WEIL had the pleasure to invite some of its key local partners on an exclusive tour on Lake Geneva. On board Realteam’s D35 sailing boat, participants had the chance to live a unique experience. They discovered high-tech sailing techniques and had the opportunity to take the helm and adjust the sheets in the gentle afternoon breeze.

RAYMOND WEIL is proud to be supporting Realteam as its Official Timing Partner for the 2016 season of the D35 Trophy on Lake Geneva and the GC32 Racing Tour internationally. To mark this new partnership, the Swiss watchmaker has unveiled a new freelancer, a 42.5 mm watch available in polished steel or with black PVD coating, which is reminiscent of the dynamic styling and aesthetic codes of diving watches. It has a unidirectional rotating bezel in black ceramic with white, green or orange markings, luminous hands and a screw-down crown. It is water resistant to 300 meters. Thanks to the well-thought-out use of Super-Luminova on key elements of the black dial, legibility is guaranteed.

With this partnership, RAYMOND WEIL is paying tribute to its founder who was a member of the Geneva Yacht Club. A nice little tip of the hat to Mr Raymond Weil who established the family-run company precisely 40 years ago.
